Trainer/Instructor Course
This is a 10 week course that will be a great experience for a handler to enhance his or her skills and learn many different ways to train a K-9.
The course will deal with shaping up his or her handling skills while learning how to handle all different type’s of dogs with different personalities.
During the course the new trainer will learn the proper steps needed to take a green dog and mold it into a finished dog. Also they learn to adjust the training methods to each dog’s personality. The trainer will learn to balance out the discipline and affection the dogs need to perform at the highest level.
Trainers will learn what do look for during the selection process of a green dog to purchase. Without this knowledge the process can be difficult and very costly.
Trainers will be required to teach a class before completion of the course. This will ensure they have the knowledge needed to be K-9 trainer.
Lethal K-9 Academy will provide housing during the course.
Internet, Cable, and Handbook will be provided as well.
You will be required to be in class Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
